How It Works

Find the right documents for your role & project type
Each AIA Contract Document is assigned a unique alpha-numeric code (like A101, B101, etc.) that indicates its role within the project structure–helping users quickly identify the right document for their project type and stage.
Each document undergoes regular revisions to stay current with legal developments, industry trends, and best practices. Revised versions are easily identifiable by the year indicator in the document title (e.g., A201–2017), ensuring everyone is working
from the most up-to-date version.
Determine what related documents you’ll need
AIA Contract Documents are thoughtfully coordinated and reference one another, ensuring consistency and clarity across your project. Using the full suite helps you stay aligned, protected, and ready for every phase.
For example:

Buy individual documents as needed for a specific project. These documents may be finalized only once, but you get access to the same powerful editing and sharing tools. | Ideal for complex projects and delivery models, the Unlimited Subscription provides full-year access to all 300+ documents covering the entire project life. |
Evaluate your project activity over the next 12 months
For example, an Architect with three or more projects would save money purchasing a subscription:
